 A Creative, Restorative Respite Experience

(guided by creativity, choice, and nervous system care)

Arrival & Settling In
You’re welcomed into a calm, home-like space where there’s time to settle in gently. Over a cup of tea, we talk about what you’re needing most — rest, creative flow, emotional regulation, or simply space away from everyday demands.

Creative Flow Time
Art and craft are offered as gentle tools for calming the nervous system and supporting emotional regulation. You might choose slow stitching, painting, journalling, mixed media, or working on a personal project. There’s no pressure to “be creative” — the focus is on the process, not the outcome, allowing your body and mind to soften and settle.

Nature & Regulation Breaks
Creative time is balanced with opportunities to step outside — sitting on the deck, walking the property, or simply resting — supporting grounding and nervous system reset.

Pause & Nourish
Regular breaks for tea, snacks, and quiet reflection help maintain a steady, regulated pace.

Evening Wind-Down
As the day slows, calming activities such as gentle conversation, low-key games, or a movie are offered. A guided mindfulness or relaxation practice helps the nervous system shift into rest mode.

Restful Sleep
You sleep in a peaceful, comfortable environment designed to support deep rest and recovery.

Morning Re-Entry
The day begins slowly, with options such as gentle movement, stretching, or a quiet walk to support regulation and connection with your body.

Creative Integration
More time is offered for art-making or creative reflection — continuing a project, starting something new, or simply enjoying the soothing rhythm of hands-on creation.

Reflection & Closure
Before heading home, there’s space to reflect on how creativity supported your emotional regulation and sense of calm, and how these tools can be carried into everyday life.

Departure
You leave feeling more settled, clearer, and resourced — with a calmer nervous system and a renewed connection to yourself.
